3D channel to launch in the U.S.
Next week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is expected to be the big coming out party for 3DTV — something the consumer electronics industry is desperately hoping will become the “next big thing” to help pull it out of its current doldrums. Whether those hopes will turn into reality remains a question mark, but news courtesy of HDGuru.com that DirecTV plans to launch a full-time 3D channel in the U.S.
