The Wolkfsonian-Florida International University museum in Miami Beach has launched a new exhibit devoted to the conceptual drawings and designs of cars that will run through March. Titled Styled for the Road: The Art of Automobile Design, 1908-1948, will present more than 80 marketing images and schematic drawings rendered in pencil by industrial designers , architects and craftsmen that chronicle the evolution of the American car and the resulting effect on pop culture. “I would hope that somebody would walk away from this with (knowledge) that almost everything in their life is designed by somebody ..
