Fashion designers help raise awareness to help fight breast cancer
October is breast cancer awareness month, and to draw attention to the austere condition a group of fashion designers and cancer survivors in Jackson, Tennessee, has held the second annual Design for a Cure competition where aspiring designers get to showcase their talents on the catwalk while raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Part of the Runway for a cure series of fashion shows, this year”s event featured six student designed evening dresses ranging from fitted V-neck reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn to a strapless gold gown with a small train
